Joining TSAE was the best professional decision I ever made - almost everything I learned about association management, I've learned through TSAE.  -- Susan Kessler, CAE, Associate Executive Director, The Texas Exes

The Texas Society of Association Executives is the professional society representing the Texas-based associations, non-profits, and their suppliers. Since 1928, TSAE has been the education and networking epicenter of the Texas association community. TSAE exists to serve our members – our purpose is to educate, to promote and protect our profession, to facilitate networking, and to help our members become more valuable professionals. To maximize that value, TSAE encourages members to get involved in all that TSAE has to offer.

Member Types

  • Association Executive: Association Executive membership is open to persons employed by voluntary trade and professional organizations in Texas.
  • Affiliate: Affiliate members are suppliers - individuals engaged in selling products, services, or facilities to members of TSAE on behalf of a firm, city, chamber of commerce, bureau, or other entity.
  • Associate: Associate membership is open to retired association professionals, in-transition association professionals, volunteers, students, and others interested in the profession that do not qualify for other categories.

When I moved from hospital management to association management, I had no previous association management background and only knew a handful of other association executives.  TSAE provided an instant network of state wide association executives, hoteliers, meeting planners, and all the other affiliated professionals that make association management such a dynamic career. -- Richard Hoeth, FACHE, CAE, Vice President, Texas Hospital Association
